well im new to this site and wondering it anyone can give me any insite on the whipple? is it safe to run on a stock 5.3??? what probs would i have if i installed it?

 

I don't know much about them but a few guys here run them. I'm sure they'll be along shortly.

 

ive seen one on the dyno where i used to work and wasnt impressed at all..honestly id stay away from that and get a Magnacharger Bill (Trever1t) has a radix on a some what stock 5.3 makin 566/613

 

i've had a whipple on my truck for quite awhile and i can't complain. runs pretty good for what it is and hasn't given me any problems whatsoever.

 

well the dealership still has the whipple that came off the truck. theyre wantin 1500 for it.

 

There are plenty of Fords running 11's, even 10's with them (forged everything, of course, 2.3's with 75 shot no2) but I haven't seen much on Chevy's at all. Magnuson would be alot easier to make it run well from what I hear, but you sure can't argue with the price. Do your research and good luck!
