New Crank Pulley 8.5" w/2.8 upper How Much Boost?
#1
I never got around to putting a boost gauge in and am planning on installing a 8.5 inch crank pulley. How much boost should I be seeing with the new crank pulley?
I also ordered a 8 rib complement of pulleys from Innovators West today. Hopefully I'll get the stuff Friday so I can put it on over the weekend. Has anyone swapped nose cone pulleys on a TVS yet?

Hey Dennis, how have you been?
Is this a 6.0L? 1900 or 2300 TVS?
Theoretically, on a 6.0L you'd be making ~13.5 with the 1900 and ~19 with the 2300. Thats just calculating out the numbers based off compressor volume, rpms, engine volume, etc... Real world you'd probably see 1 pound or so less than those numbers.

I've got a 1900 on a forged 6.0 with H/C. I just got all the bugs worked out from the 6L90 install including rewiring the TCC module so I now have 4wd. It really jumps in 4wd with the 4.03 first gear and a 2800 stall!
I'm thinking about selling my 1900 and moving to a 2300 jack shaft setup.
