Looking very nice Rick. Only thing I don't like is the slip fit for the 2 pieces. Once you clamp that down you've essentially turned it into a 1 piece downpipe. Plus, it's more likely to leak.

2pc for easier installation.
The slip is a snug fit without clamp, and is a 3" of fit.
No worries about leaking.
I guess the end user could weld it up solid if they want.

I already have one of the pipes he built like this for my kit. No leaks, and very unlikely to ever develop one the way it slips together. Also makes installation much easier. Mine is 3.5 inches as well.
