I think that these are the same except that they are butt-weld instead of slip-fit. And exhaust flanges don't use gaskets, so they aren't grooved on the face. And these cost $9.36 each.

 

v-band flanges arent exactly extortionately expensive...

 

you're looking at about 40.00 per connection, they can get expensive!

I've found some on ebay, for 30.00 with a clamp. Found just the clamp for 8.99, plus 8.00 shipping, all Stainless Steel. I'm going to see if I can buy more then one and only pay the shipping charge once. Plus I have four clamps already from work, and possible I can get more clamps that are a diffent design. And I'll just machine the flanges for free. Alot cheaper then 30.00 bucks per connection, with a rough guess of at least 10, that's 300.00.
Alittle expensive to say the least, for my cheap *** build.
