Plus 10 here for the amazing goop. i was SO confident it would work, it is in my fuel basket in my gas tank holding a plastic pocket I made to hold the sock to the bottom. Been there for a long time now. however, methanol is some destructive stuff.

Well I got some today and sealed up the fitting again. After it dries overnight I'll fill the tank back up. Hopefully it holds.

After trial and error on my own personal washer tank for the same use....

I have found that the "Amazing poop" is 100% the way to go.

Its hard to research what to use, cause most say they are "chemical resistant" well, that holds about no truth when it comes to putting meth in a tank.

Have fun!

try getting some nylon washers and using them on the bulkhead fittings that should take care of your problem

Is it the barbed fitting that pushes into the rubber grommet on the WW tank leaking? I wanted to buy a bulkhead type fitting but don't know how to reach the inside the tank to back it up while tightening. Maybe a smaller ID grommet will fit tighter.

I just ordered a bulkhead style fitting today. I'm not sure how I'll get it inside the tank....probably just drop the o-ring and nut inside the tank and fumble it around until I can find a way to get it threaded.
