I was considering the valve cover, but I don't think the angle is steep enough to have a good drain at higher rpm. The front of the oil pan is pretty easy, thats how i did it.

 

i had mine in the valve cover but it was a bad idea its not a good angle and the oil was being pushd back so i tap the pan problem solved..

 

here is a few pics of my kb kit, I did the intercooler my self though. If your truck is low your not gonna like it down low, I had to learn that the hard way. I put my return line in the passenger side of the pan.

 

how are ur guys water pump lines???mine are a lil too close to the turbos hot side

 

Use the extra hose and barbs to splice the hoses and route them out of the way. The hoses in my truck at closest to the compressor side are like 3 inches away. I used the stock hose bracket and modified it to bolt to the upper/inner front of the pass side head also.
