need help / advice lq4 +boost

That is a great cam for a NA engine, but why not put a 'boost cam' in it if you're going through all of the trouble of swapping cams? You don't need a huge cam to make good power on a turbo charged application. A smaller cam will also allow you to run a tighter converter which will increase the drivability of your daily driver. When I went FI, my Texas Speed 220 cam came out in favor of the Isky triple 12. I'm pretty sure stock48 made it into the low 10's with that cam in a 6.0l and a lot of boost

Boost is all new to me, I asked about that cam since a local is selling it pretty cheap with springs.......i really dont know what should be used as for a cam so any advice is welcomed

Well the timing chain is no big deal, they arent that much. I did cam, chain, pushrods, springs and had the heads redone but no port/polish in my trucks 6.0 that has been bone stock for 115k and im hopin for 500 rwhp

That is a 6.0. Not a 5.3 that has lower then stock compression. Like i said it isn't completely impossible but with out a slip and better yet a video, it didn't happen.
