I get some pretty awesome mileage in my truck at 55mph, around 25mpg. That's the optimal speed for gas mileage. But I rarely cruise at 55mph...and that mileage is NOT because of the turbo.

They should have made gas mileage displays unable to display instantaneous mileage.

Thanks for schooling us up...if only they made this kit for the Burban...

When's the install date already?

That's a start but,you gotta remember they'd be losing out on some creative marketing.Seems to me I only catch that thing when I pull my eyes off the road which in turn instinctively my foot eases off the pedal. Now when the gigs up and I pull my calculator out at the pump. The numbers are no where near what I see on AVERAGE with the instant display. They could swap it out for a gauge that reads what people want to see/hear since it seems to be the thing to do when you wanna move product.

That's funny, because I have a vacuum gauge that is also useless when I am on the road. Every time I look at it, whoever it is who is in control of my throttle foot lets off the gas a little.

It's not all bad. That's what I use to prove to people that cruise control doesn't save gas.

Resurrecting an old thread here... LSRacing, any long term updates to share? Have you been able to do any further tuning to optimize AFM under boost?

Im now seeing no less than 350 miles per tank mixed driving and more times than not 400 miles per tank. These are excellent results imo. The initial dyno gain is 55hp and 75lbs TQ. The small turbo does not appear to be hurting the up top power at all to my surprise. The graph shape is exactly the same as the stock dyno graph minus the added power. Ill post the graph and a snap shot of the DIC display showing my miles per tank etc...

I will still be updating as I go.
