New system looks top notch!

 

Only time anyone hears it is when I'm leaning on it and don't care about noise. It never opens the wg under normal driving.

At 65 this new setup is def more quiet. My wife even asked why my truck was more quiet. At 3k-3500 rpm going up a steep hill in 2nd it seemed a bit louder than before but again my truck was working and under some decent load and about 5 psi.

 

Choda, I THINK that 12579 muffler was the 3" one I ran several years ago. It used to be widely popular on this forum but I didn't like it so much because it was so quiet on my stockish 6.0 setup. I could literally hear the clutch fan over the exhaust at WOT.

Well, I'm currently running a massive 4" magnaflow diesel muffler (full 4" exhaust from turbo to the tailpipe) and I'm seriously considering switching to the 3" muffler, but adding a cutout for power under boost. Any sound clips of your new exhaust with normal driving and idling?

Prices are great and he knows what he's doing. Most of his fab work is on custom one off turbo manifolds and kits so truck exhaust is cake for him.

No. None had it open. That loudness is the open dump. It starts to open a couple times in my bov vid. All the videos were taken w my windows closed.
