Ray,what are the deminsions for the 454 i.e. stroke/bore sizes?

Here's the blower speed formula
Blower Speed Formula: ((CP/BP)*Ratio)*RPM - where CP = Crank Pulley size, BP = Blower Pulley size, Ratio = rear pulley ratio and RPM = motor speed

Very cool and different build. I can sence the excitement you have for your new project lol,

But why not just buy a converted or do your own Duramax swap and throw a set of twins on it and have the nastiest fastest tow anything kickass Suburban around!!!!!

You could max out a 91mm on 454 cubes.

Wow this is gonna be awesome. I love the idea of a big cube small block pushing the limits of the 2300.

Im assuming the LSx 454 is a tall deck?

4.125/4.185 right out of the gmpp catalog well kinda

it's grown a personality,ever since the heart t/plant back to the 5.3 its been leaving me stranded! its on all fours as i type! i need to put some love back in just so i can drive the dam thing. I have put more miles in the camaro the last 5 months than the bus in two years. besides i know nothing about d/max's

Nope tall deck to complicated. Standard block, besides i got a SMOKIN deal on the LSX 454 rotating assembly!

how about a katech torquer ls7 116 it has -2 overlap duration is 220/244 615/648

I can understand the paid for thing for sure. Why use such a big blower pulley? I'd think you would want to spin it as hard as you could with that many cubes , but you've got more experience with these than anyone else...
