Default MSD Fuel Pump Booster

OK, so I have a MSD Fuel Pump Booster. It doesn't have instructions, so how do I go about hooking this thing up? I'm mainly wandering about the wiring. Do I SPLICE into the pump wires, or do I CUT and REPLACE the existing pump wires. I was wanting to put it on an in dash switch instead of running it constantly. Is it possible?

I don't know if the years matter, but if it is for an '05 Chevy/GMC I can hook you up! If you are running a S/C or turbo, why would you want to switch it on/off? I will look at the truck to verify the exact wires and location, but I have the bed off now so it will be easier. I will reply after I look....

That wiring diagram is all the instructions needed. Cut and replace the pump wires. Find the stock fuel pump relay and cut the coil wire off the back of the socket, and extend it to 85 on the MSD relay. The hose that goes to the intake manifold will tell the controller when to boost the voltage, no need to do it manually. I imagine that screw on the left side of the controller adjusts at what manifold pressure that the voltage to the pump goes up.
I guess all that's not helpful if you don't have a shop manual to know which is the pump relay coil wire.
Oh well, I'm still posting because this took about a half hour to type.
Sorry.

Okay, again, this is on an '05 GMC. There are two wire conduits that run into the fuse box under the hood on the engine side. You want the aft (smaller) bundle. There is a gray wire in this bundle. That is the relay wire you need. On my truck I have wires extended from the MSD all the way back to the fuel pump on top of the tank. I bought this entire STS kit and related components basically new (only a few months old) from someone selling their truck and I left everything the way I received it. There is a black wire and a gray wire in the bundle going to the tank module for the pump. These are the wires you need. Only problem is there are a couple of each in this same bundle. You will have to check them with a meter to find the right ones. After finding them I cut my factory wires near the tank and capped them and then spliced the MSD wires to the wires going to the pump. I hope this helps!! Any further questions and I'll try to answer them. See you later....
