The SSR my partner has with the 427 LS2, 60lb injectors, 10psi of boost and 6 speed has seen as good as 29mpg on the freeway. The TrailBlazers and Trucks usually see about 1.5-3.0MPG increase from a MagnaCharger on a stock installation. Most others platforms come out the same.
29 is WOW! If I get an increase on the order of 1.5-3 MPG, I'll have to buy that Inlet FWD...if you'll buy me a FLT Lvl 5. Your partner, hmm...?

They say only 1/3HP lost thru bypass @ 60mph.

This SSR is my Partners vehicle and it has an LS2 that was Darton Sleeved and stroked to 427 CI. The biggest reason he gets that mileage is due to the M10 6 Speed transmission. He averaged almost 26 mpg on a trip from Phoenix, AZ to San Diego area where I live. He has seen as high as 29 mpg on his commute to work on the freeway at 65 mph. This is alot better then he was getting with the 6.0 he had before because he would drive around in 5th gear all the time. With the torque of the 427 he can just put it in 6th gear and lug it along at 65 mph.

I wish I could get that with the TrailBlazer SS but I have the 4L70E and 4.10 gears. I have seen a best of 16 mpg on a trip with it.

Not really, I was harder on it without the blower. With the blower on it there was really no need to go WOT much, part throttle was all that was needed most of the time.

Even driving easy there was a loss of mileage for me. Guess that's what 170 extra hp does.

170? I thought when the Radix 1st came out they claimed 120hp increase. Later ads claimed 135.
What gives? How were u seeing 170 w/ a Maggie?

you want to see the dyno graphs? go to page two (click sig) and you'll see the mods and graphs that took me from 304hp (NA) to 515hp. (blower alone = without the nitrous)

btw, if i stay steady on the throttle i'll get ~20mph over distance on flat road

Bill, I looked @ your pg before. I just checked again. I only see 120 w/ blower only. BLOWER ONLY is what I mean bro. Stock pulley, no funny business. No pulley changes or other mods. I don't mean blower & all mods prior to juice. You know that, right?
Is there something I'm not seeing?
