Default Mounting my FMIC

Ok, so I am about to install my STS and FMIC, I am debating on where to put the IC, I have a 01 silverado with a 3k Stall and an Trans Cooler
My two options I see to mount the FMIC are behind the bumper and cut a whole in the bumper (red circle)
or Mount it behind the grill (yellow circle) but I don't know about blocking air-flow to my trans cooler and radiator. opinions anyone?
(the truck in the picture is not my truck)

Not sure on the Chevy's, but the GMC's there not enough room behind the grill to mount a OBX style intercooler without moving a bunch of stuff. That's why I put mine under the bumper.

Here's the route I chose:

I had a little trouble sitting in traffic at 105* last summer (with tranny temps) and may move the tranny cooler (currently mounted to the back of the fmic), but overall no complaints.

if you go behind the grill, you will have to space back the radiator and put on E fans, I dont know how you would get decent air putting it behind your bumper unless you duct it from below or swiss cheeze your licence plate.
