Default most boost on a stock 4.8?

what is the most boost i can run on a stock 4.8 without and fuel mods. or if i was to up the boost what kinda fuel mods would i need?

i'd say atleast a better flowing or accessory pump and some larger injectors.

I agree with Blown02. You can run boost on a stock 4.8, like I said above, but I wouldn't do it. Get a pair of 42# injectors and a boost-a-pump from BlownChevy. That should help.

What kind of FI are you looking at??????

0 psi is very safe to run with no fuel mods.
Not trying to offend, but if you arent wanting to do fuel mods, then dont do any forced induction

not that i dont want to do fuel mods it just that i dont have any yet. but i have a turbo i am looking at that is just the turbo and BOV and i want to know if i can run it till i get fuel mods

stock injectors are only good for 300rwhp or so. thats just 2psi or so.

the stock fuel pump is good for more like 400rwhp. maybe a little more. 6psi would be prety safe.

Dont add boost unless you plan to upgrade the fuel system. Unless you want to blow up the motor anyway. As mentioned above at least do injectors, that will give you a little flexability.
