Default More upgrades for the Supersub!

Being in Vegas taught me a few hard lessons! It's HOT!

Both Me and the bus had a rough time! I felt that for the surrounding circumstances, Knowing that i had to drive it back to MN, the Suburban Finish with a strong footprint on my over HP goals. The Guy's AT LEP are truly Stellar!

Well Now on to the heat issue, Vegas 110+
what a day to dyno! Every body wants More HP out of there set-up Right!!!Well here is what I came up with!

The words "Phenolic" and "Spacer".

check out the vid!

thats just the differance between the two manifolds.

"Heat Soak" No more.

Going at it head over heals and ending up hitting a home run!
In my mind (at least)creating a " Velocity" effect creating more room for the air to enter the Intake ports.

this also allows me to add E-85 to the mix utilizing the new larger Taller Injectors!

Oh! Almost forgot Iat's hmmmm.

Respond at your own risk!

Can some one tell me what 205kpa = in boost?

Wondered why someone hasn't done that before. Put something between the blower and the damn engine to isolate it from the heat. Great work!

thx! It's been buggin me since vegas! Just decided to go for it!

So far the results are amazing! everything attached to the upper manifold is now isolated away from the engine heat. only the lower tub is in direct contact with the engine. Blower, Intercooler, and fuel rails are no longer heating up from being in contact with the engine.

Did you pulley down too because you don't go from 10psi to 15psi by adding a spacer BTW Nice mod though.

I'm getting 19psi with a 3.2 front pulley on my 6.0 but I've got a rear cog setup. How is the 10 rib rear pulley setup handling the extra boost

I changed to the cog rear, and also pullied down in preperation for my next dyno. The last dyno netted 590 rwhp was on a 3.4 front with a 10-rib overdrivin rear @ 10 psi, My current set up is a 3.0 on a overdrivin cogged rear. There should be a substancial increase. Closer to sea level, better DA, locking the converter, More boost, E-85 and my Spacer.

I'll have to consider this on mine and use it to run nitrous and methanol spray bars Wish I had access to a CNC.
