Good numbers. I wouldn't bother with race gas for 20hp though. Allen you done with my truck yet. LOL

Thats awesome man. I followed your build on CT before my Titan got totaled. Glad you stuck with and got it running and putting down some power. I know it took a lot to stick with it after all the money you had to dump in the build, especially the tranny

yea but if you look at the dyno graphs i actually lose like 30-40hp after 5500 rpms till redline and the race gas doesnt lose hardly any power..

so i guess it gains more where i spend most of my time at when racing at the track 5000-6000 rpms.

Thats wierd, I just went back and looked. Why is that, is it because its in a different timing table with the race gas or something?

he was able to add a quite a bit of timing after 5000 rpms. he had some sort of knock sensor headphones on listening for knock and load tested the truck for 30 minutes on the dynojet. Im pretty confident it is safe..

Thats cool. Although you didnt gain alot over peak, there is more power in the curve, I didnt even notice that. It will run alot better at the track with that much more topend power.

yea went to the track this friday, but launching this pig is going to take some getting used to all over again.. cant stage it and get boost off the line. kinda pisses me off if i try to brake stall it to 3k you can definatly hear the turbo spooling and feel the back end starting to buck cause it's about to blow the rear slicks loose and caused me to redlight twice. I need a damn transbrake, lol footbrake just isnt strong enough anymore with the turbo to hold the truck in place. i know if i could get atleast 5psi right off the line when lauching my 12.3@109 woulda been more like a 11.9@111-112
funny thing is my best run of the night was on the 4th hot lap back thru without no cooldowns at all. I usually keep hotlapping till i figure out how to launch it then i let the engine cool for 1 hr and try for a better e.t. but that didnt work for me this week cause someone spilled thier transmission all down the track and it was shut down over a hr and a half. so the truck was cold but so was the track surface @11:45pm and had dew all over it no one hooked up the rest of the night and they shut it down at 12:15.
so i didnt even get the chance to beat my best time :/ But atleast with a better cooldown i still managed a 12.8@110 with a horrible 2.3 60' my best run was a 1.77 60' with the heat soaked motor

With those numbers, you should have an 11 second pass with some more launching experience. You've got the MPH and you have the 60' time.....now put them together! lol

yea going to talk to the tuner on monday to see if he knows any tricks to open the throttle plate to help spool turbo but not make hp so it doesnt make me redlight and start breaking traction.
I know the hondas just floor it and it bounces off a pre-determined rev limiter and fuel cut brings the rpms down then it revs again and it lets them get max boost off the line..
