Now that looks sharp. Talk about easy to get to. To be honest, i cant imagine why the factory would not put it there to begin with. Seems like a logical spot when you can put the battery on the other side. They could stick it down behind the radiator if you get the dual battery setup, but otherwise thats a great spot for it. Im going to have to make something to hold both my TCM and PCM together, but it should look real similar to what you have. Nice job!

hey, where did you get that pipe you're using for the intercooler? I bought an I/C pipe kit from Ebay, but i dont really want the look of a bunch of silicone couplings holding all the pipe together. Did you weld it up yourself? I can weld steel, but never tried my hand at tig/mig welding aluminum. I am thinking about getting all my pipe ran, then unhooking it and taking it to the muffler shop and having them duplicate it with aluminum pipe. Still not sure though.

I got a 3" tube bend and coupler kit on Ebay. 6- 90°s, blue vinyl couplers (no stretch, tossed them), and hose clamps (saving for some non-critical application).
Yeah I welded it. TIG welding aluminum is a lot easier than it used to be, with these modern inverter welders. Easy to make a weld, it'll be years before I can make a good-looking weld.
