Default Methanol alternative

I've been looking and I can't get any meth where I live. All washer fluid is +32* and no one will ship overseas to Hawaii. Only thing here is yellow Heet and Home Depot denatured alcohol.

Anyone use/tune with denatured alcohol?

You can use heet or denatured alcohol but why not just run less timing and have a safe setup

Well I'm @ intercooler 10psi on 92 pump gas and want to be able to safely turn up boost (14-15psi max)using meth or other cooling agent.

What ratio of water/heet or denatured alcohol is used if pure meth is not available?

i have a built running around that is 16psi on straight 93...11.0 cr and a max of 13* timing

i pull timing for that build based on IATs early and it still makes good power on 8* timing which was 744 on a mustang dyno and at 13* it made 806 rwhp

so for 14 psi you can run without meth if you choose to

i dont know the ratio or etc but you will need to be tuned for it

Try to find a VP fuels dealer, they should able to get M1 for you.

Denatured alcohol is essentially e85 fwiw.
