I do it, never had a problem, but I don't hold the 2 step for very long either. I imagine there might be a slight risk of a backfire if the 2 step malfunctions and you are spraying a **** ton of meth.

now i scared to try again . i was just looking more boost leaving when had converter issue launch at 3 lbs now 6-7 lbs lauch (nite and day differ) .i was trying to get 10 lb launch .think i will try hydo boost brakes .again thank for replys

Meth is great in most applications, but you need to be aware of the threshold of meth to gasoline ratios. Otherwise backfires will happen.
Things I've experienced in my DSM days:
Blown intakes manifolds and or gaskets, head gaskets, bent rods and intercooler endtanks splitting.
But then again I also ran 24-26 psi on a smaller turbo on the street daily to 120mph in the 1/4.
I started introducing meth into the system once I passed 15psi, under there was no need. Ignition timing and a two step played a bigger role on spooling the turbo. Otherwise, spray it.
