so if i put the tank in the tool box and the pump on the frame rail below the tool box it will not be a problem to push the rest of the way to the TB?

It will be fine. A lot of the import guys dont have the room under the hood and mount the tank in the trunk with the pump.

Coolingmist even makes a 1.5g trunk/bed mounted tank that holds the pump.
