Still don't know if I would use any other methanol inj kit other than the Alky control I have. Just an FYI. I had a pump failure after about a year. About $100 to replace. The connection at the bottom of the tank wants to leak from time to time. I've had to pull the tank out and fix it a couple times.

Well that sucks, I think snow has a lifetime warranty on there pumps and a leak at there "custom" bulkhead fitting seems unaccepatable to me. I thought that was the point of them supplying a replacement resevoir with the fitting already installed.

I gained 50 hp upping the timing 2* and adding strait meth. I use mine on a hobbs switch comes on at 6 psi. I tune it by using nitrous jets. up the boost or timing and i add a larger size jet, kind of an old school way of doing it but easy to tune! Im also using Trick's meth tank. Its SS and holds alittle over 2 gallons.

It would depend on the percetage meth/gasoline eh?

I've never run mix and don't know why you'd want to unless it makes some huge difference in IAT which I have never heard occuring. Straight meth is not only an octane booster (~ a few points from what I've read) but is also a fuel source so less injector can be used. The downside would be a dependance on another fueling system that if failed could be catastrophic but I haven't heard of that happening in a long while.

I've read from 105 to 110+ on top of 93.

1 year warranty on the pump. Mine failed somewhat after that. The fitting in the tank needs a better design. Just a grommet and push in fit. Over time mine starts to leak. Have to pull it out flex work with it to get it sealed again. No biggie just a hassle.

Im running a Devils Own kit. Its the basic one that uses a hobbs switch, I just switched to a dry nitrous nozzle and jets to tune it. Also I think its closer to 118 octane when running strait.

Another reason why the seperate tank is nice to have. I also don't like to waste the good stuff on my windshield.
