NO !

I think I'm going to surf on over to the Fed. Gov. grant site and see if there are any available grants for "beefing up" federal vehicles. Test and R&D stuff, that'd be awesome.

While searching for old info I grave dug this old thread .

15 psi is achieveable with a 1900 , I have a custom 2.5 pulley , OD balancer and meth . This is info for future grave diggers lol

I was reading a recent issue of GM High Tech performance ,
Has a newer CTS-V , 6.2 , factory TVS 1900 blower that has been ported , ported throttle body , no meth was mentioned , and he claims to make 17psi so it has me wondering . The article states he runs mid nines , but also says he is running stock manifolds , so I'm not sure if that's where the restriction lies and is creating his extra boost , but I think I'll port my blower this winter and see what it will yield .

No sir , 1/4 mile , 9.63@142mph , on nitrous/boost.

I hate magazine articles , you just never know if something is misprinted or there isn't enough detail/specs sometimes .

Here is the article , tell me what you guys think .
I would love to have one that runs like this

Well, he's got stock exhaust manifolds and catback, that could account for the higher than usual boost levels. He really wanted to keep up appearances that the car is (relatively) stock when you pop the hood or look underneath.

Yes exactley what I was thinking in account for the high boost , but also he has a 6.2/376. , I have a 6.0/364 , I was thinking the stockish exhaust/extra cubic inch might be a wash , but I am no expert lol . Also not sure if comp. Ratio has anything to do with it , or perhaps the nitrous is helping by bieng compressed thru the rotor case , not sure what type if kit it is .

Lol , I'd love to find 2 more psi !
