Another project coming up is a 408 with a tvs2300, I still don't expect to make tons of boost with this setup as well, but that's why we went 10.2 compression on this engine, should be fun and most importantly, the customer wants a low boost, instant torque monster.
oh ya, it's going on a sheriffs truck hahah. they need instant power up to about 120mph , and good torque for border patrolling and going off road.
you wouldn't believe how hard these guys are on their trucks!
that's one reason we're doing a maggy, good reliability!

EDIT: I have a larger than stock cam, so with stock, I would expect even more boost out of a TVS. I was in no way commenting on your 383, as it is not a direct comparison to my or the OPs 5.3L.
