You would think spliting the lower manifold and putting a bigger intercooler in there and making a spacer could help. Probably with all that cost you'd just as well get a tvs and be done with it.

Same question, but for a GT7...?
Wish I could say specifically. So many mods seems so long ago. There for a while seems about every little thing dropped my et's by a tenth or two.

trenz what are your goals for speed or power?

On the street...radix IS kick *** fun. The two heat exchangers or larger one will shine on the street. Playing around alot and getting those temps to recover quickly are important IMO.

Breeze and I ALWAYS play race each other and he's much lighter. He would always pull me slowly on the street. Once I change to the TVS he hand his hands full but I certainly didn't leave him. He still had the radix. Don't let anybody fool you. The TVS is so bad *** in efficiency it is giving the radix a bruised eye. The radix will always be a heat box and at the track it is certainly a down fall. But it can be a great setup. Hell I watched Breeze 2 weeks in a row almost win brackets with the setup. Ofcourse he's lighter but he was locked in on 12.2's all day both days.

Sorry, just don't want you to get knocked off your blower horse. You have a respectable and most importantly stable setup. KySilverado said everything that I would in response to the initial question.

BTW, keep an eye on those metco's. Replace as soon as they get wobbly.

As heavy as my screw cab is, im actually fine with the radix. Just wanted to keep it a lil cooler because of texas weather. Ive ordered a dual heat ex and the 90mm j-tube. just need a dr x link and tb now.

IF nitrous is not cooling the IATs down you need to spray more nitrous then. LOL

Is this common? or is it a specific problem to Metcos?

Luck shmuck...you have 500 miles a year on that thing!

There's a few reports of the bearings going out in them. Mine was the only one that I have heard about (internet is a huge place) that came of while driving.

No doubt right? LMAO I think anything that comes into that blower manifold while under boost doesn't have a good chance of directly affecting the IAT sensor.
