Magnuson Truck MP122HH conversion kit pics............a running work in progress

Figured I'd post these up for you guys; went ahead and did some mock-up fitment to give you an idea of what it will look like put together, enjoy :)

there is an adapter plate that goes between the head unit and the manifold lid which will complete the assembly. As soon as I have one "in hand" I'll do the final assembly and get on with the installation/testing :drive:

Comfortable looking garage.

Is that a typical garage in San Elijo Hills?
I may have some upgrading to do at my shack in Encinitas. :jest:

Bowtie70SS 09-18-2006 09:27 PM

Jesus Christ, I am getting tired of spending money....there is way too much cool sh*t out there. I would really like to have one, that is once I get the engine back together

no problem on the picture of adapter plate :)

GMC_DUDE 09-19-2006 10:34 AM

Noticed the 8-rib pulleys. Changing the others or using some kind of adapter?

litreddevil 09-19-2006 10:58 AM

so how would that thing work on a 01 vette the car is almost ready for it.

thunderwagen 09-19-2006 12:35 PM

That looks great I cant wait to get my hands on one. Are you going to be testing it with the 6 rib that comes with it, or are you going to go ahead and do the 8 rib conversion you have been holding on to?

I will be initially testing with the 6rib setup, just swapping over the 3.1 pulley from the MP112 to the MP122H. Ultimately I will run the full 8rib setup

Mort 09-19-2006 05:14 PM

Come on grippy, hurry up! :)

Look great! Keep us posted on the progress.

James B. 09-20-2006 03:05 AM

The top of the casting is neat, like a George Foreman grill. There's even an integrated Flavor Valley® down the middle. Someone should make a bolt-on Foreman lid for these and start a revolution in camping convenience!

LOL, I'm not ready to start grillin n chillin just yet, especially when the MP122H will do a much better job of force feeding my 6L engine :judge:

thunderwagen 09-20-2006 11:06 PM

Damn I cant wait to get my hands on one!

I'll be happy if when I'm done modding I see 550hp to the wheels:drive:

I was expecting 500 from the mp112, so if I see another 50rwhp I'd say thats a solid gain from only another .2L of blower.

I will probably be done with this one when I hit 550 to 600. Hopefully closer to 600. Mabey I will get off my ass soon and install my heads and cam. Im almost as bad as you with buying crap and not installing it.

affirmative.

still waiting on the plate. If you look at the pic I took of the discharge area and bypass area(both being larger) that is where the need for the adapter comes into play.

I see it... by just looking at the bolt pattern of the top manifold piece and the bottom of the S/C. Hope the adaptor plate is about an inch thick or better
