Default Magnuson Bypass

Got a question about the Bypass vacuum actuators on these maggies. When mine comes on boost it feels like it's turned on like a switch, I noticed that superchargers online has these with different springs. Will this work and which one to get?

Boost should scale pretty linearly with your pedal input. The bypass is basically controlled by the pressure between the TB and the rotor pack. The more pedal you give it the less vacuum there so the more the spring closes the bypass valve and the more boost you get. So a heavier spring there would make it go into boost easier and a light spring would make it harder to get into boost.

Often this line has a restrictor built in to keep the valve from fluttering but most guys remove this or drill it out to be more responsive.

My billet
snout restricts the bypass blade and makes for good response with out flutter or surging, goes from a 2x1 oval to a 1/4-1/2 round hole
