I am running 17 psi of boost in this TrailBlazer SS with my MP122HH and 8 Groove Pulley System right now. This is done on a forged 370 with stage 2 L92 heads and a big cam. On a recent 1 hour trip I got 16 MPG on the freeway with this combination. The upgrade to the 100mm MAF was needed at the boost I was pushing to reduce the inlet vacuum. Please feel to call me about prices.

With a 6.0 LQ9, what kind of boost numbers can be expected with the stock pulley for each blower offered? Can you list each, please.

What kind of torque numbers are you making shoving 17psi down the throat of a forged 370 with the MP122HH?

We made 639/593 at the wheels on the last dyno. I want to get it back on the dyno again here real soon.

I apologize if people have asked this before, but I figure go to the source if you have a question. Now granted I do not know the diameter pully you are running, but even with those kinds of numbers and with that much psi introduced into the engine does the MP122HH still "free-wheel" under normal driving conditions, does it stay out of boost? Cause I have read many threads on this site and I've gotten the general impression if you pully down a radix or magnacharger in general it will go into boost quicker and will not "free-wheel" very long which can hurt mpg, etc... Am I correct or am I false? I'm just looking for the right answer.

The rotors are always turning. What you hear about going into boost real fast or too easy is mainly do to intake vacuum. The Bypass Valve is controled by vacuum and stays open so long as you are light on the throttle and have at least a little vacuum. The cam I have keeps about 13-15" of vacuum driving around so no real issue. You will see boost while going up steep grades when you have to hold the throttle blade open more and the bypass valve closes due to little or no vacuum.
