A lot.

very simple design, very robust parts. All you have to do to gain some confidence is look at all the high mile M62/M90 cars GM built OEM, or the M112 SVT cars.

I wouldn't really look at things like the millennia or any of the boosted Jags or Land Rovers because those all fell apart, but it wasn't the blowers fault.

Change the oil every 12-15k, keep an eye out for coupler wear and replace it when needed, and prob budget a rebuild at ~150k depending on how she sounds. Don't be scared to pop the belt off and give her a spin by hand to get a feel for it. When it's gets gritty or notchy: time for bearings.

Thanks, I just did all the hoses, belts, coolant not long ago. The Radix oil was transparent-tish but yes the smell. So, I 'll mot wait 90k this time eh?
Is the coupler the spring inside the nose? I remember spinning it both ways and felt no play. I am an industrial maintenance tech, mechanical & machinist and she felt good.
But tell me more about the coupler please.

In OEM applications, there is a hard rubber/plastic coupler that engages pins on the snout and drives the rotor. It's how power is transferred from snout to rotors. They are known to wear out and make a rattling sound
