Default magnacharger 112

ok i was curious to what temperature the water runs at through the inter cooler. i don't have a lot of room in the engine bay of my truck due to engine cage and other stuff. but i am not running a heater and i have the 2 heater core lines plugged off and i was thinking of running the cooler lines into that so the supercharger is part of the actual truck cooling.. thanks for the help all i need to know is what degree the water is.

On a high 80's day, my IAT' s were at 127 cruising. There is a lot of heat soak on the 112's.

I actually was looking at a log a couple weeks ago, and was surprised my boost numbers were so low. At 5100 RPM's I was at 12.5, and at 6700 RPM's I was at 9.5. That was the last time I got in the gas right before my engine blew, but it felt to be running real well.

Just so everyone knows, I did not gain any boost at all by adding the 10% OD crank pulley. I will hopefully soon be starting a thread about the 112 as I am making a new intercooler that will have 88% larger surface area, and will allow more air to pass through it. It should have some interesting results.

You do not want to tie your coolant system in with the blower.... It will be too hot. DONT DO IT.

I don't think he's saying that. I think he has an abandoned heater core and he was just going to add that heater core loop to it to his blower IC system loop. There are some threads on this, seen guys do this a few years back before TVS' and we were all trying to find ways to cool the radix's down.

When he said so it would be part of the actual truck cooling I took that to mean he was.

With air to water intercooler you have all kinds of options. You could mount the heat exchanger below the radiator, infront of radiator, undercab with a Fan, in bed with a fan etc. Just food for thought.

Yeah I was going to make it part of the trucks cooling system. But I talked to a few people and they said the temp in their supercharged was 90-150. My truck runs at 190. I found a spot for the air water inner cooler so everything is good. Just waiting for the adaptor plate and fuel injected connectors and should be done. I took an 08 silverado 5.3 supercharged and made it work on an 02 5.3 silverado.
