Cool just checking...

with head studs and LS9 head gaskets, 20psi with a good fuel and a spot on tune should be quite fun.
but it all depends on fuel and tune at that point.

gas is 91 and if we can push 16psi on the stock rotating we would be happy

aiming for 600whp .. sounds resonable right?

nonnieselman Oct 15, 2012 03:19 PM

very easy.. i pushed mine to 15 psi this weekend and it was awesome.. (LQ4) but lean too by the end of the run :nono:

15-16psi would be as far as I would push it

sand man Oct 15, 2012 03:22 PM

lq4 has 9.4:1 and I suppose you run 93 gas

nonnieselman Oct 15, 2012 03:27 PM

oh just saw 91 octane..
might have to work the tune up slowly.. any plans for Methanol?
