stock cranks are good for more than 525 horses. And they will last.

lol

You need to watch throwing that "have" around. Theres a difference between the fact that you are going to detune your truck to 525whp and having to detune your truck.

i think im just going to go forged rods and pistons.... i wanna make about 800rwhp or mid 10's.. which ever gets me their first! i think the stock crank will be fine with that amountt of power but on a side note, how much power do you think the motor will hold adding a forged lets say eagle crank(cheapest forged crank from texas speed)

Don't even bother with an Eagle, the amount of machining you will have to do to it will get you to the cost of running a good crank. I would recommend callies compstar rods and diamond or JE pistons with a stock crank. This will be just fine at 900hp for a very long time with a well prepped block.

you just need pistons and rods......mahle, diamond, manley all work

my current boost car is over 800 rwhp with a stock crank in a forged LS6, my previous turbo car was a stock crank in a forged 346, did numerous strip passes, road course days and open road terror with the old car, and it never missed a beat (when I'm driving the car hard its usually doesn't go under 4K rpms)

stock crank is absolutely fine with boost, its the hard hit of nitrous that gets you into trouble vs. linear increases of power with boost.
