I'd do valve springs for sure. Stock head gaskets are probably some of the best you can find, don't bother with an aftermarket brand. ARP head bolts/studs are probably not necessary for 10psi, but if there's any chance at all that you might crank up the boost in the future, now is definitely the time to put them in. It's a PITA with the motor in the truck.

yes upgrade the springs for sure and if you can do it run ARP head studs. the rod bolts are for high rpms. i have them but again i spin some rpms. i went with Dual springs. its best to have that extra reasurance. Stock MLS gaskets are the best, cometic leak to damm much

Might think about doin cometic head gaskets too. Rods bolts are not really needed unless your spinnin 7k+ rpms from what I hear.

Everyone pretty much covered it, but I can almost guarantee you will break a piston before you lift a head. I agree, Get valve springs. What injectors?
what about meth?
boost controler?
charge cooler?

I agree with the valve springs. The rest I'd leave stock except maybe a cam.

There is a good tip! I'd throw a cam and springs in it...

The stock head bolts will hold 16+psi for a while but if you beat on it every day they will fatigue. I lifted a head on my LQ4 with the stock bolts after a couple months at 16psi pistons were ok. At 18psi I bent the rods, but the pistons seem to have held, no head lift with the studds, but only hit 18psi a couple times on the street down in vegas. At the least I would go with ARP head studds, a cam, and an american made spring like ISKY #165A.
