That is why there is a pressure hob switch that sets in front of the pump on the sts kits. If the pump stops working the oil pressure will build up in the oil feed line resulting kicking the hob switch on and putting power to your buzzard inside the cab letting you know the pump has stopped workin.
I don't know why the fuse blew. It never blew again after that, but I never left the house again without spare fuses and oil. Not my idea of a good time.

Why dont they come up with a way to just kill the truck when the pump fails? Instead of a buzzer you could have it wired to the fuel pump or any other way to kill the truck? I could see this not being to good if you were hauling *** cause brakes and steering would suck but would save the motor. Just a thought.

Take my advice. Routinely jump that switch and test the buzzer.
