Low on power?
#1
Just dynoed my 6.0 at 22lbs boost, e85 , billet s480, 218/218 cam, 4" exhaust, 15 degrees timing and made 704 rwhp. This is through a 4l80e, ford 9 inch, and unlocked converter.
Seems low.... yay or nay?

Do you have any other power numbers to share, what was it at 10-15-20psi?

First off, I've never been a big proponent of dynos. I ran at the track, a lot.
My best educated guess is that your converter is turning into an oven.
I needed the absolute tightest converter CircleD could make in 258mm in order to hold 22 psi, and even then it was not as efficient as ideal.
If you have a converter designed for lock up under power, I would suggest doing that and re-dynoing. Or, log converter slip thru your datalogger if you can.

Its a Pro yank single disk converter. Not going to lock this one up on the dyno.
I was just anticipating more rwhp as I made aroun 630 rwhp with a 2.3 whipple at ~14 pounds boost.
