What's the loudest supercharger on the market for the 6.0 LQ4 motors? I've got a Magnacharger I've bought for my LQ4/T56 build that's going into my '84 KITT replica. I'm looking for around 450 RWHP or so, but I'd like the supercharger to be loud. I heard the Kenne Bell and I love that sound..is there any way to enhance the sound of a supercharger? I know it's a stupid querstion, but there's no info doing a search.
I'm also looking for info on Radix h/c combos, but I'll make another thread for that I s'pose. Thanks guys.

 

an open filter air intake will make the blower whine louder.

if im not mistaken though, i think that a twinscrew is just naturally louder than a roots-hybrid like the radix

 

Ya my KB is pretty damn loud, especially with the Air to Air intercooler....

I personally don’t have any experience with superchargers, but I do know that a lot of the 03-04 Cobra guys take the stock eaton roots blower and port them. A ported eaton is VERY LOUD and gives VERY good gain in power. There are a few Companies that port the eatons for a good price.

 

I had a Whipple on my 89 Silverado that just screamed at about 3000 rpm and above. I think part of that was due to the inlet facing the firewall though.

 

i heard a radix on a 6.0 that whined damn good.
