Looking to twin turbo.

I am looking for some help on a 2008 chevy silverado 1500 5.3L extended cab regular bed. My intent is two make it remote mounted twin turbos. However, I do not know what I must do to the engine first. Any information? Thanks yal.

Assuming your engine is stock, you'll need valve springs, at least 42lb injectors, an intank Walbro fuel pump, a STS twin rearmount kit and a custom tune. Do yourself a favor a start with 60lb injectors and make sure you include a FMIC.

with a rearmount setup, he could get away with 1 decent size wastegate to help keep costs down.
to the OP since your interested in the rear mount setup, how come you want a twin setup? twins are nice up in the bay, it adds to the AW effect having twins under your bed does special. You would save more keeping twins in the engine bay or a single under the bed.

as far as mods go... I have 37's, 4.56 gears, cold air intake, headers, aluminum pipes straight dual exhaust wit 4" tip, pcm for less tune.
I am going to get hi flow cats when i get the truck turbod. I am planning on injectors, fuel pump, wastegates.
I would like to keep the twins in the back to keep heat down and allow room in the engine bay for a different engine in a couple years.
Is everyone pretty much thinking that sts turbo would be the way to go? Or should I go a different route?
