But. I just don't know how much my lq9 will last but I'm try to start low then raise the boost and see what kind of limits it has

It makes around 540 wheel at 11psi. At least that's what it made when the motor/tranny/rear end was in my other truck. That's enough power for me. It's a daily driver/work truck. The problem with shooting for big numbers in a truck is the heavy assed drivetrain. Same motor in an M6 vette, camaro, or GTO would be mid 600's at the wheel.

thats a good idea. just dont be scared of the big blower you can always run a big pulley on it to lower your boost unlike a big turbo where if you get a huge turbo it wont spool correctly .

Do it! Please keep us posted on this build! I really wish you had a GMT900 6.2 for a closer reference but your 6.0 800 will have to do
