Kenne Bell superchargers???

Well, they certainly did not have their **** together last April when I had cash in hand. I guess it wouldn't have mattered though... I still have not heard of a (on manifold)truck kit on the streets yet purchased by someone who had the patience to get ahold of them.

Quick update on the Kenne Bell... that I know of...
I flipped through their 153page ON MANIFOLD/INTERCOOLED TRUCK kit installation manual today at lunch with, Chad, a good friend of mine at AZ Power and Sound. I am impressed with the documentation. My understanding is AZPS is working on some cool applications with the truck based intercooled on manifold kit. Chad also told me the kits are now available to be ordered. This may be old news to some... but new and welcome news to others. I HATE the dryer hose intake. BUT... KB has come through for the C5 guys on a trick polished intake tube option (over the blow mold plastic)... truck guys need to make some NOISE to put a finishing touch on this kit that an owner would be proud of to pop the hood and show off. So, my speculation on battery relocation... bla bla bla... was way off. They put the intake on the driver side... without moving the battery. Kudo's to KB.
Another thing I was concerned about was the truck DBW throttle body on the Kenne Bell kits. In the instruction manual, with their adaptor plate, their looks to be plenty of room to mount the (03-07 classic) DBW throttle body. LS2 throttle body's are mounted upside down... so no fitment problems there.
I HATE the dryer hose intake... did I say that already? Anyway, KB mounts the relocated intake filter, to what appears to be, on the grill side of the core support... cold air... as good as its gonna get. Looks like the MAF is mounted to a stationary tube attached to the core support as it feeds through to the grill side. I say this not having installed the kit and only looking at the instructions. But the filter does not appear to be in a hot engine compartment environment and that is a plus... again just flipping through the instructions...
I suspect initial customer feedback to KB from truck guys that select this kit will be key to "finishing" it...
... otherwise... I'm done bitching about an unavailable product. It is now available and I hope guys that pony up come back and give us feedback... the good, bad, and ugly (if any) ... as it usually comes with initial real world public feedback...

I'm sure they are going to make some truck owners VERY happy... after they get rid of the dryer hose
