should be easier on the motor, b/c i have to let rpms drop to 4k or so b4 it will shift instead of wot the whole time. The tranny issue will be fixed soon, but still wont be a 10 sec truck. there is alot required suspension wise for a 2wd truck to go 10s.

I really think it a backpressure issue also.
It is a T-72 turbo with .86 exhust a/r.
I think it is to small. But I bet that thing spools up real quik!

What size of cam are you running?

i agree 100%. i do good r&d b/c i tend to push mine a little farther than most, being it is a toy and not a dd. maybe we can come up with a HD cross pipe for an upgrade option for higher outputs?

I'm not sure what tranny issues you're having, but if you haven't already do the drill mod. I had a similar issue with not being able to shift until the rpms dropped with my T56. I did the drill mod and things got a lot better.

thanks but its all aftermarket, Mcleod master, line, and hyd t/o, i did the drill mod on the stock stuff before swapping it all out, didnt help. im sending it off to get re-worked. it will be good to go after that. Also going back with a Mcleod twin disc clutch in place of the df centerforce.

For the power you are making, you need to step up to a large frame turbo. Heck, I have a S475 (75mm compressor, 1.1AR T6 turbine) going on my little stock 5.3 project. If it were forged like yours, I could make 900hp easy with it...
