Do I want a 20 amp or a 40 amp KB BAP with the Radix fuel pump? What exactly is the Radix fuel pump as far as mfg and is it truely a 255lph?

in your 2005 truck, the in-tank radix fuel pump is indeed a walbro gsss340 (255lph) pump.
as far as the KB BAP, i don't have an answer for you. why not go with a magnavolt instead of the KB BAP? just wondering what the differences are?

I think he already had the KB BAP....The differences in the two are simple, the MV is easier on the pump than the KB BAP.

Trever, I would go with the 40 amp.

No, I dont have either one, yet. Rick suggests the KB unit. What do you mean "easier" Brian? I called KB and asked, they said 40 is the one, good call.

The thing I like about the MV is it will not add voltage until the vehicle reaches 3 psi and 4000 rpm. The KB is 3 psi, and you can hit that under light loads where the added fuel volume is not needed.

fo sheezy....

in the past the MV got a bad rap due to the failure rate. We discovered that the fuse holder was not up to the task, and was speced out wrong for the job. That problem has sense been handled and no issues have been reported.
