you have to switch the valve covers. the filler will now be on the drivers side, back of the engine. that's always fun when you go to get the oil changed, lol.

Didn't they give you the instruction book?

Are you talking about the oil dipstick tube? If so, then you gotta pull that sucker out and do some serious bending to get it to come out between the pass. side of the blower and the Whipple-supplied square tube that runs between the air intake box and the throttle body. Definately a fun step during the install!

Good to know about bending the dipstick tube. More work...

Actually I was talking about the oil filler tube that comes out of the valve cover. The whipple would sit right on top of it. I found out from another forum that I'm supposed to flip the valve covers to the oposite heads.

Not sure if I get a manual...it was a used S/C from Ebay. But I have plenty of input from different forums. These sites are a wealth of info!!!

Yep, gotta switch them around. As mentioned earlier, makes for some interesting 'searching' when you take it in for an oil change!
If ya get stuck, just post up - plenty of help here.

Hey thanks. Anytime you're in Alaska come in my restaurant and dinner is on me. I'll print those off tonight. Looks like the S/C gets installed on the drivers side of an 8.1 L. But these instructions at least give me a good starting point on other critical issues. I kind of like to know EVERYTHING I can about a major mod before I start getting into it....reduce the surprises.

The seller told me that he had the instructions but forgot to put them in the box with the S/C...and he shipped the S/C today but is supposed to send me the instructions tomorrow. In case I don't get them I'll be asking folks here for a bit more knowledge....
