Already have one............Picked up a Livernois kit a few weeks ago sold the gt37 and ordered a GTQ72...............Quit contemplating pulling it off. Put some cometic gaskets on that bitch and keep it at the 15# you said you wanted to run for daily driver ability. I know you are fed up with pulling it apart and putting it together so many times, but you will get it ironed out. Try drinking more until you get it back together that way you wont remember so many of the painful things associated with those copper gaskets!

82,817 sorry for the hijack but were drunk!

LOL! HIjack for sure. Kinda thought the question was answered so ***** UP! The bad thing is my gut is telling me go NA but my brain is saying FIX YO ****. I've always been a big inch, high comp, twisting out the frame, gear banging kinda guy and what I have come to is that (I know I have had unusual bad luck but) a custom turbo system is extremely complex and is not conducive for someone that doesn't have the time to invest that is needed and really wants a reliable daily driver. Bottom line is, i'm sick of it. Someone please PM me that is interested in a turbo system. I'll build another weekend playtoy with a turbo again at a later time.

You didnt hurt anything when you started getting the leak on the gaskets did you? If not just replace the gaskets with some MLS and get it back on the road. Run low boost untill you are confident then turn up the wick a bit. That shouldnt take you long. Its not like you need to pull the whole thing down and take it to the machine shop again. I know it is a pain in the *** to pull all that **** off to get to the gaskets and to scrape off all the crap you coated the copper ones with, but if you think about it you could get it done in a weekend or two. In your case a month with your F'ed up work schedule.

I know once you get to drive this set up for more than a week at a time if you dont get wood you will definetly have a smile on your face!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.....
There you go talking sensable again. I tell you what, the only reason I may keep the turbo at this point is it will only envolve pulling the heads instead of swapping pistons, porting heads, and undoing FI mods. That is the only reason.

Hot rodding is all about breaking and replacing it with better ! That is how we roll! Yeah you have had more problems than alot of other people, but you arent exactly slapping a base STS kit on a stock motor are you. Im sure you will find me on here within the next month or two having my drunken bitch fest about how my HO aint actin right, and hopefully I dont blow her up after spending all this damn money! The point is you are damn near where you want your truck to be so just get her done so you can drink less and I can gain some experience from you since our setups are going to be real similar! Hopefully you will talk me out of some drunken sales posts too!

It will get better and when you blow off some a.... hole next to you and he hears that thing sound like a jet and then gets the pppssssshhhhhhhhttttttt when you bang into the next gear it will all be worth it. By the way we are going to have to work out some form of payment for the therapy session we just had! Im willing to accept help pulling the old motor and installing the new one!
