Default intercooler/maf/speed density

doing a RCSB 4.8 turbo. 4l80e/circle d converter or ptc
head studs, lifters, pushrods, spings, good gaskets, turbo cam. fuel pump

found a passenger log header with t4 flange

thinking I'll do a .96ar pte 76gts

only gonna run 10-12 psi most likely, pump gas 93 octane

who makes a good air to air intercooler?
what size injectors?
and most importantly are guys going speed density or staying MAF?

whats involved with speed density tuning?/ I wont be tuning/tuner will. but what do I need to have

Prolly want to be careful towing with that much boost.. might want to back it down to about 5-8ish.

Injectors depends on power goals.

what part of the country are you in?

i went 2 bar speed density cause i was having MAF issues. and for towing your goin to want to dial in the 105kpa range you will know what im talking about if its not right.

60# injectors will be plenty for that psi. go speed density and like said i wouldn't tow w/that much boost. back it off a little while towing. depending on how much you want to spend cxracing has cheap decent intercoolers. if you want a better one go w/ Treadstone.

I'm running speed density but I have the MAF still in place for the IAT. While logging,it's showing I'm maxing out the MAF at 6psi and 4500 rpms if that tells you anything about how useful it's going to beat 12 psi, even on a 4.8

What role is the MAF playing with the IAT?

The IAT sensor is built into the MAF housing.

Or you can buy a separate IAT sensor and ditch the MAF. My IAT sensor is in the intake where the EGR was.

I'm concerned about mine, because my IAT's don't go up at all in boost, they only go up a couple degrees like 10-20 seconds after boost. But I'm only running around 6psi now and haven't spent much more than a couple seconds at 6psi. The sensor works fine, I tested it with a heat gun. Maybe it's not sticking out far enough into the flow or something.
