Default Intercooled turbo iat?

What are most you guys getting for iat over outside air on you turbo setups? I have my intercooler behind the grill and im hitting 175 iat in 95-100 degrees outside temps. This is on only 12 psi on a 4.8 with a 76mm turbo, its seemed to high to me, is my intercooler junk? I got it off ebay, its a 31x11 I think 3in thick.
Im running e85 so it works but I have plans on going up to 18-20 psi and I dont see that working to well. What do you guys think? Do I need to look into a better intercooler or is this normal?

I'm no mechanic but I think that's way to hot , maybe need to try to allow more air across it . I'm running more boost then that and even when I hot lap it on the street I've never seen over 150deg - the e-85 helps with your temp but for me personally that's a red flag . Can you do some cutting to get more air to it ?

During the day, that's no surprise. Ambient here at night is around 90 or so, and I see IATs approaching 150 after a good 10-12 seconds WOT on 15ish psi. I have a decent intercooler too...

I have a eBay intercooler and I just added a meth kit and I'm seeing around 12* below ambient temps on about a 9 second street pull. Temps outside where around 92 or when I did that.

Assuming your IC is getting good air, I would seriously consider a better IC...

Hhhm, You can see about 60-70 percent of the intercooler throw the grill of the truck, so I think is getting good air flow, I just dont think its cooling near what it should, 175 seemed very hot to me but im kind of new to boost so I wanted a little input on this, This numbers is what I hear alot of people getting without the intercooler. So now.. whats a good intercooler that decently priced? Mines a 120 dollar ebay one and it seems to be junk.

How is your air filter setup? If its right on the turbo its only sucking up hot air to start with

Its not cheap, but you can take a look at what foose04 got. I wanna say his IATs actually dropped through out the pull? Instead of rising like the cheap intercoolers do.

Air filter is down maybe 18 inchs off the turbo, I tryed to get it as far away as I could from heat but theres only so much room, its better then right off the turbo but not really pulling in cold outside air like you would want.
