Sorry to bring back an old tread, but that picture is supposed to be of the gasket with the tabs ground off, right? I just bought a used radix kit and I am trying to round up all the parts. I don't know as I have never pulled the intake off and can't until I get all the parts. If I can modify the stock gasket to work good I will do that? Rob

Update: are these the tabs needing to be ground off?

Those are unmodified stock style gaskets in the pics. You can't tell from the pics, but there are several protrusions that fit into the gasket locating holes on the factory intake. These are what need to be cut/ground off. I have done it, it is not too difficult. Just be careful not to damage the seals.

So just make the tabs the same thickness as the rest of the black portion of the gasket? Thanks, Rob

you remove the clips that hold it to the stock manifold. be sure you put them on the sc first b4 you lower the HU back on
