Im on a 2 bar SD setup, but what codes have to be disabled in Hptuners to completely remove the maf? Also what color wires need to be spliced into?

the IAT goes to the Black wire and the Tan wire that are on the MAF.
Doesnt matter which way, its just a resistance sensor.

wouldnt you want to get a open element vs closed? shouldnt it react faster to temp changes?

I have the oem style that comes on the fbodys with the rubber locking bung..

i ran that one for years. sold my kit and bought a MSD sensor and put it in the Manifold.

In my Vette and truck I use the closed element. I've seen tierod go through 4 open sensors because the methanol keeps eating the sensors
