I've got over 40K on my truck with the MP112 in place. I just cammed it and pullied it down at Christmas and wish I'd done it 5 years ago. I've currently got 64K on the clock and expect it to last as long as I want to drive it. I run it hard whenever I want and am not especially worried about the engine lasting as much as the tranny and the G80. When they go they will be upgraded to an FLT level VII and a Truetrac.

Modern diesel motors are designed for large amounts of boost. I don't see your point...

he asked how reliable a boosted truck was. my point is a boosted truck can be extremely reliable given it is prepared for it and not terribly abused

A motor designed to run on boost vs a motor not designed to run on boost but has it anyways.

I know what you're trying to say, but using a turbo diesel as an example isn't really relevant.

I bought my maggie in May of 2004, and it still works like brand new. In 2007 I swapped the 4.8 out (about 80,000 miles) for a 6.0L, and the 4.8 was still in excellent condition. This after having run it mostly with a 3.25" pulley and 10 psi boost. The one part I might worry about is the 4L60e transmission. Mine was slipping on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts even with the 4.8, standard Magnacharger tune, and stock 3.7" pulley.
