I bet all the environmentalists would love that setup. A vehicle that passes inspections but is capable of running through several gallons of fuel in seconds.

 

If the engine were to bog from too much meth, couldn't you just adjust the timing to take advantage of the extra fuel?

 

I was joking actually -- you can bog the engine with meth, but only before you retune for meth. Once you pull fuel to get your AFR back in shape, you'd have to be dumping about a metric shitton of meth to bog again I think.

 

i have no professional expert opinion on this, BUT...I'd bet boost is or at least should be included in a calculation of "how much meth". Like at 5psi, I bet you don't see anywhere near the gains you'd see in the double digits of boost, percent of meth to HP speaking. We are talking about a stock internal 6.0 here right? Which with all that said, Dusty, you are running 12psi? Pure it on man! Just retune.

Well there is another track meet comming up Cal track meet And I'm all out of injector and meth. SOOO.I thought I'd order another nozzle and start playing with fire, in other words have meth compensate for the lack of fuel...... and maybe more boost......


Parish8 how much PSI did you shovel in the LQ4 for the best results? Wasn’t it like 14 or 15 psi? Then a 75 shot on top of that right? what was your best non nitrous E.T with it????

Dusty, just T the meth line (the meth pump will handle it just fine), put another M15 nozzle in it, re-tune, see where your at. Add a couple lbs of boost till the injectors are close on DC and run the bitch
