theres a lot of factors.... My opinion is around 12ish. With meth. At least daily driven. I could see around 14ish at the track with a good tune.

What I've heard from the people I respect is 10psi max, with a good tune, sustained over time.

Tune is the major factor. but it depends on how you use the truck.

Parish and that bunch have been punishing the stock 5.3 in the Fairmont for quite some time on 18#? boost but they are running race gas.

You could run 10-12 psi safe.. Like mentioned the more boost you run the more spot on the tune has to be... The tune plays the biggest rule..

The only true way to tell is keep adding boost until it blows up, then fix it and back it off a little. Or take my approach and build it back stronger, and try to blow it up again:D

Seriously though every application is different. In a light car, with a loose converter you might get away with 18~20PSI for a while. In a heavy truck 14~16 PSI might be the limit.

The tune, fuel quality, temp, and back PSI are your main factors.
