Default How much boost to expect?

Tuner wants to know about how much boost I should see to give me a safe start up tune. Specs as follows:

Stock LQ4
Outlaw intake
90mm TB
90mm J-tube
Radix 112HH
3.0 Pulley
Long Tubes
No Cats

Thanks

I guessed 8-9 lbs. Guess that should get me in a safe tune zone if the boost is a little under my estimate. How much does boost increase per .10" drop in pulley size? I've heard each .10 adds about 1psi.

a 112HH is not any bigger than a MP112, it just has the high helix rotors and therefore is a bit more efficient

I have the 2.8 pulley on mine and I only see 7.5 psi, what size pulley do you have on there now and how much boost are you getting? I have an LQ9 though.

Don't even have the blower on yet. I'm trying to get some guestimated numbers to my tuner so I can have an ecm with a start up tune wating to go in once the install is complete.

Experiencing any belt slip? Would have thought your boost would be a little higher.

No belt slip at all as far as I can tell. So did I, but I do have long tubes, high flow cats and a free flowing muffler. Could be why the boost is lower.
